business overview

Librios Ltd is a small, innovative software developer, at the forefront of publishing and informatics (information management) technology. We also provide expert consultancy on how to manage fast-changing and often complex information where dynamic user interaction is critical to success. Our commercial origin is in information publishing, with customers in the UK (e.g. AA Publishing, A&C Black, Big Picture, Bloomsbury Professional, Trajectory, The Wine Society), in the Netherlands (e.g. Spectrum, Unieboek) and in the USA (e.g. F+W Media, Krause Publications). We are now increasingly active in other areas too, notably in the UK healthcare sector, where we provide informatics technology for the NHS (Clinical Knowledge Summaries), for Imperial College/St Mary’s Hospital (informatics for surgical training), and for the National Office of Animal Health (animal medicine updates). We are also developing relationships in arts and culture information management. The company is based in London, with satellites in Milton Keynes, Bedford, Worcester and Exeter.
